Carbahal Olsen Financial Services recently hired Kurt Schrader, who joins the team as an investment adviser representative. In this role, Schrader will provide comprehensive financial planning and asset management services.
Schrader, hired in September, said he was attracted by the Carbahal Olsen’s reputation for quality and professionalism.
“Since joining, I have also been extremely impressed by the commitment to its employees’ education and professional development,” he said.
Schrader comes to Carbahal Olsen with seven years of experience in the property and casualty insurance field. Most recently, he worked as the sales manager for Purves & Associates Insurance Agency of Davis, in the personal lines department. There, he led new-business and marketing efforts, including presentations, training seminars and complete personal insurance reviews. This background eased Schrader’s transition into his position at Carbahal Olsen.
“I intend to apply my personal risk-management experience and passion for sound financial planning as I partner with our clients to improve their financial success and well-being,” Schrader said.
Schrader is a Davis High School graduate and a lifelong resident of Yolo County. He earned his bachelor degree in business from Sacramento State and is enrolled in the personal financial planning certificate program at UCLA Extension.
