ORDERING THE LAUSANNE LAPTOP BUNDLE You may choose from three great Bundles! Each one includes Microsoft Office 2007 Enterprise (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, OneNote, Publisher & more), a manufacturer’s Extended Warranty, Accidental Damage Protection (ADP), Inspiration Software, First Class e-mail client and Symantec Anti-Virus. The R400 and X200 Tablet also come with Adobe Premiere Elements, PhotoShop Elements, Soundbooth and Contribute. All programs will be pre-installed and configured. The Laptops will start shipping directly to your home starting May 1st (in time for the 5th grade training day) and will be ready to connect to the school’s network. The IdeaPad S10e NetBook Bundle at $769 is a smaller, more portable machine that meets the minimum requirements of the school. This model uses Windows XP and does not come with an optical drive for CD or DVD access. The battery life is 4+ hours and it weighs under 3 pounds. The ThinkPad R400 Recommended Bundle at $1,569 is the “Recommended†Bundle; it is fast machine, using Intel’s dual core 2.53GHz processor with 2GB memory, a DVD Burner and a 1394 FireWire port for video import. It has 4+ hours of battery and weighs 5lbs. The ThinkPad X200 Pen/Tablet Bundle at $1,999 supports handwriting recognition, so students can use it as they would a pencil and notepad. It weighs just 3.9 pounds, comes with 2GB memory and has a 9 hour battery. This model does not come with an optical drive for CD or DVD access; one can be purchased with either a USB connection or in a docking station.

The Lausanne ThinkPad Bundles will ship directly to your home.
